Verbatim Editorial is a Recommended Vendor by Preditors and Editors™
(an advisory site that helps you select a reputable editor)
As I refine your content, I assess the message you wish to present while maintaining your unique voice. I evaluate the processing styles of your learners and ensure that the form of the writing supports the function. The “feel” of the content will be uniquely yours, and it will be presented to your audience in a way that is clear, consistent, and effective.
Verbatim Editorial does not accept material that includes or promotes hate speech, racism, sexism, or homophobia. I do not accept religious text unless it is inclusive of all humanitarian beliefs and practices. Manuscripts that include sexual content may be accepted, depending on scope and treatment.
Proofreading versus editing
To proofread is to ensure that another person’s editorial changes have been made. I refer to all services that I offer as editing.

Please provide the number of standard pages (8.5 x 11, Times New Roman 12 pt., double spaced, 1″ margins), the topic, the services requested, and your time restrictions. Please note which version of Microsoft Word you are using. Send your material by e-mail attachment (docx file).
I edit using Microsoft Word’s Track Changes function. Changes to the original document appear as red text, and the new material is highlighted in blue. This feature makes it convenient for you to check the revisions quickly and easily.
